The REPERTOIRE series is designed to help early secondary level students (12 to 14 years of age) become confident and skilled users of the English language. Using high interest learning situations, this tool focuses on the students' development of the following three competencies: interacting orally in English; reinvesting understanding of texts and writing and producing texts.

The activities of this learning situation can be realized in 4 to 6 hours. They include tasks that encourage cooperative learning and self-reflection as well as exercises that encompass the three dimensions of learning: cognitive, affective and social. Complimentary activities are also supplied for in-class work as well as homework: quizzes, riddles, vocabulary, and grammar.
